Registration FAQ

  • Do I need to register? Is it free to register?

    No need to register unless you wish to post a listing or reply via message. There is often a phone number on the listing page. If you do prefer to message, or wish to add a listing, registering is currently free.

  • I tried to register but cannot login - it says my email address is not verified yet

    You'll need to click on the link in the email we sent to your email when you registered. Check your email and maybe your spam folder, it shouldn't be there but sometimes happens. If you still cannot find it, perhaps try to register again and double-check the email you enter. Finally you can try our support forum or live chat for support. We do clear accounts which do not have the email address verified from time to time, so you can always try again later.

  • Unlimited enquiries? I don't believe it! How many enquiries are included? How much per extra enquiry?

    For a limited time, paid listing packages include unlimited enquiries. We don't limit the number of enquiries or charge more for overages, etc. Once your listing is approved, you get unlimited enquiries via messaging, or to your verified mobile number - as many as you can attract with a great listing, professional photographs, compelling description and of course a realistic price! (Or perhaps an auction-style listing.) Of course you can use features like Video Ad, Featured status, Tags, etc. to boost your ranking - see Packages page for prevailing offers. N.B. if you add a listing with unlimited inquiries it will have unlimited inquiries once approved, unless you later edit it.

  • Is it really free for a condo for sale / rent listing?

    Yes, joining is free, as well as free membership. You can submit a condo for sale or rent listing, within 30 days of joining, absolutely free. Additional listings, Featured listings, extra photos, additional features such as tags, bidding, including a YouTube video URL and other listing categories such as Parking Spaces, Condotels, Property Services, etc. are available at extra cost. Please refer to the 'Packages' page for current pricing. Add-ons such as Priority Processing are available at: https://condo.bid/shop

  • Help! I can't add a listing - it says package expired. I know membership is still free - can you help?

    Joining and membership is 100% free and submission within 30 days of your 1st condo sale/rent listing is also free - don't worry you don't need to enter your credit card details. It's completely free. If your package has expired or you have used your quota, you can still respond to listings, save favorites, receive our newsletter, etc. If you want to place further listings, you'll need to go to the Packages page and select a Listing Package (perhaps 'Almost Free' at just ₱99.00 at time of publication) Just go to checkout as usual and your account will be upgraded automatically, usually within a few minutes. Of course we do recommend you consider all the packages as we think they offer extremely valuable features at a great price.

  • Does condo.bid support condo listings for sale as well as rent or both?

    Yes, condo.bid supports listings for condominiums, condo parking spaces, condo-tels, real-estate, land and homes. Each can be for sale or rent. If you want to list for sale at the same time as allowing rentals, we recommend you make two listings; one for each. We also offer a listing facility for providers of property-related services, such as electrician, handyman, laundry, condo photography, etc.

  • Help! I can't add my mobile phone number, what can I do?

    When you enter your number, please start with +63 (for Philippines) and remove the leading zero (0), so if your number is 0987654... you should enter +63987654...

  • Help! I did not receive a code via SMS

    If you are sure you have entered the correct mobile number but you have not received an code via SMS, it may be a network operator issue, although this is rare, it does happen sometimes. Please see our status page (https://condo.bid/status) Please be patient or try again later.

  • Do I need to verify my mobile phone number and where can I do that?

    To add a listing, you'll need to verify your mobile phone number. For other members, it is strongly recommended. If you wish to include the number in the listing's description with, e.g. for SMS, Whatsapp, Viber or a landline you MUST first verify a mobile number in their profile. To verify your mobile phone number, login to the 'Dashboard' (at the top right of the page, click on your username. Scroll down and you should see your mobile number with the word 'Verify?', simply click this when you have your phone with you and you will receive a code via SMS. Simply enter the code and confirm, your number is verified. If your phone number does not show, you'll need to Add it first - to do so click on the 'Edit Profile' next to your photo at the top of the Dashboard page. Enter your mobile number in the box for Contact Number. Note your number will need to start with '+63' followed by your mobile number. Please be aware that only Philippine mobile numbers are supported at this time. *** FROM NOVEMBER 16, 2019 all members need to verify a mobile number before adding a listing ***

  • How do I set the main photo - so that people see a good image on the front page and in search results?

    You need to go to your 'Dashboard' (from the menu) then select My Ads, then click on the Title of the listing you wish to update. The ad page will load, then click 'Re-arrange the ad photos'. The first image (on the left) is the main one that people will see on the listing as well as when the listing shows in search results, on the front page and in featured listings, so it is good to have a nice photo here. It will help to get more people to visit your ad. Don't forget to click RE-ARRANGE at the bottom to confirm this change.

  • The map location is not showing correctly

    The location is done automatically. If the address is copied and pasted in, the map location stays at the default location. If possible, please type in the condo development name , street name or area name, city name and it should auto-complete and will then appear correctly on the map.

  • The address on the listing is not showing as expected

    (see also maps, above) When you are adding a listing, the address is used for the listing you are entering at that time. This is to allow multiple listings in different locations. Your home / office address is needed only when making payment.

  • I need to PAUSE my Ad. How can I do that?

    The easiest way is to go to your Dashboard, then click 'My Ads'. Locate the Ad you wish to pause, then change the Ad from 'Active' to 'Sold'. Although this doesn't say Pause, what it will do is to hide your listing so it does not show in the search results. But if someone has bookmarked your listing it will show as sold. When you want to reactivate the listing, simply change from 'Sold' to 'Active'.

  • When adding my listing, what should I put for 'Tags' ?

    See the front page for examples, under the search bar. Normally it is best to follow the tags shown there, so you can be sure your listing will be included in search results when someone clicks on a tag. Commonly used tags include '1BR', '2BR', '3BR', 'BGC', 'Makati', 'Taguig', 'Video Ad', 'Parking', 'Auction Style Bidding Enabled', etc. Simply type the first tag, then enter a comma (',') to start adding the next tag. IMPORTANT: You don't need to add the '#' symbol!

  • Can I add a condo listing for a project that is still under construction ?

    Yes. It is recommended to select 'Item Condition' as 'Under construction'. You could also add the tag 'Preselling', although this is not currently displaying on the front page. Doing these two things means your listing will be easily found by customers using those search methods.

  • Do I need to add images for my listing?

    Yes, at least one image is required. You can add up to 10/25/50 images, depending upon your package. You will be able to 're-order' your images once you submit your listing for approval, as well as select the main image which will show in searches, or on the front page, for a featured listing.

  • Can I use the same images from listing on another site?

    Yes, if you own the images that is no problem. Simply upload the original images (without any watermark) so they can be approved as soon as possible. This policy is to stop fake listings where images are taken from other sites on the internet and used without permission.

  • Can I include contact numbers, email addresses or website URLs in the photos for the listing?

    No*. Images that contain any of these will be disallowed (and either rejected, or time-permitting they may be removed but this will delay the process) when you submit your listing for approval. Please enter your mobile phone number in your profile and verify it for best results. *If you want to promote your website URL, please consider a Display Advertisement or Property Services listing (contact us via the form, below).

  • Can I include contact numbers, email addresses or website URLs in the tags, title or description of the listing?

    No. * (1+2). Listings that contain any of these will be disallowed (and either rejected, or time-permitting they may be redacted, but this will delay the process) when you submit your listing for approval. Please enter your mobile phone number in your profile and verify it for best results. * 1. Members with a valid, paid membership may include instructions to SMS/Text/Viber/Whatsapp/etc. the number in their profile 2.   • Can I include people in the photos - people's faces or people who were there when I took the photos for my listing?

    Generally, no. For people's faces, just no. Otherwise, at our discretion. For example, if you have included several images and some of them include a person in the background, walking the other way, or someone who cannot be identified from the photo, we may allow these. Try to pick a time when there is no-one in the condo. We do understand this can be harder if you are trying to include photos of the communal areas.

  • Does condo.bid support messaging within the site? Where do I check messages?

    Yes! Once logged in, simply go to your Dashboard from your Username and select Messages to see all new leads and enquiries, previous conversations and reply to them at your convenience.

  • Do listings require review and approval before being visible on the site or are they be added immediately once I've paid for a listing package?

    All listings require approval before going live, after submission or editing. We try to process new listings as soon as possible, normally within 12-24 hours, but please allow up to 72 hours for approval. Note that listings submitted by members with paid packages are prioritised and approved first. Hint: For faster processing verify your mobile number - log in to your profile, click Edit Profile to add your mobile number, then click Profile to return to your profile and click Verify Now to confirm it.   • How to change the currency for my listing?

    Currently, the only currency option is Philippine Peso (PHP)

  • How do I pay for a Featured Listing?

    Simply select Packages from the top menu, then choose a membership package which includes a number of Featured Ads. You will be guided to the shopping cart where you can select Checkout and pay. Your account will be upgraded automatically and you can apply this to an existing listing, or when adding a new listing. Only for 'Condo' listings: Condo listings that are featured will have a 'Featured' banner and also show in the top scrolling section on the front page in rotation with other featured listings, they will also display at random on the front page. Other listing categories will not show in the scrolling section on the front page, but will have a 'Featured' banner.

  • My listing no longer shows on the front page - is there a way to 'bump it up' to the top again?

    Yes, simply login, go to 'Dashboard', click 'My Ads' then on the ad listing you wish to move to the top of the list on the front page, simply click 'Bump Up'. You will of course need a Bump Up credit to do this. Simply select Packages from the top menu, then choose a package which includes some credits for Bump Up. You will be guided to the shopping cart where you can select Checkout and complete payment.   • I have a paid membership package including a featured listing, how do I choose which listing to make featured?

    Simply login, go to 'Dashboard', click 'My Ads' then on the listing you wish to make Featured. Click Make Featured. After confirmation it is done instantly. (You must have Featured credit available in your account - you can see this on the Dashboard page when logged in. )

  • I added (or edited) a listing but it has not been approved yet - why is it taking so long?

    Sorry to hear you are still waiting! Sometimes there are lots of listings waiting to be approved and it takes a few hours longer, but they will normally be approved within 12-24 hours for paid membership packages and up to 72 hours for free memberships. If it is has been longer than this, it is usually because it needs attention, e.g. it is in the wrong category, the price is obviously too low or too high, or does not meet the listing guidelines and you have been given the opportunity to edit it. If you have already edited it, please contact us so that we may approve it once again.

  • My listing was already approved and has been live, but now it is not visible anymore, what happened?

    If you edited your listing it will need to be approved again. If you didn't edit your listing, it has probably been flagged by members of the community, or a moderator and will need to be reconsidered. Please make sure your listing meets the guidelines, editing it if necessary. If you are sure it is compliant, please contact us and we will consider it for re-approval. If it is not approved, we endeavour to let you know the reason and if you do not agree, you can appeal to our management team (appeal is for members with a current, paid membership package only).

  • How to approve my listings in 24 hours or less?

    Listings submitted by members with paid membership or listing packages are always processed first. Other hints include adding and verifying your mobile number in your profile (which also means more response), making sure it meets listing guidelines, is in the correct category, has appropriate photos and description so as not to delay approval.   • Any hints to process my listing faster?

    Yes, verify your mobile number in your account and your listings will be processed before others.   • The first image for my listing has changed - why is that?

    Don't worry! We are beginning to experiment with neural-learning for listing photos which should enable faster approvals in the future as well as giving more leads per listing. This may be applied gradually to existing listings. We are still testing the response so it may change from time to time. We may allow paid membership packages an option to fix the main photo image in the future, if there is demand, but cannot promise.

  • Some listings have a video - is that included with listings?

    Video is included in some listing packages. See the 'Packages' page for current pricing of packages which allow 'Video URL'. *** INCLUDING A VIDEO IS AVAILABLE WITH PAID MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES STARTING FROM 99 PESOS ***

  • How can I pay? Do you accept cash, or just credit cards?

    Our payment processor uses PayPal to process payments which means you can pay with credit/debit cards including MasterCard, Visa & American Express as well as using PayPal itself, e.g. if you have connected your bank account. Sorry that we do not accept cash, although we are exploring the possibility that you may be able to use your cash via another service to pay for some services online in the future (but sorry that we have no idea of timeline for that.)

  • What about bank transfers for property developers / property agents?

    Sorry, not at the present time, but we may be able to offer this in the future. Watch this space.

  • What is your refund policy?

    Due to the nature of the service, we do not offer refunds. You may try the listing service free of charge to see if you like it and satisfy yourself that it meets your needs. You have probably seen Featured Listings, listings with bidding enabled, listings with YouTube video URL enabled, tags, etc., but if you have any questions, please ask before you purchase. If you would like to, you may choose to purchase a package of services. Such services are offered 'as-is' with no warranty. Please see our Terms of Use for details. Of course we do want happy customers, so if you have any problems, please contact us and we will try to resolve any issue as quickly as possible. Remember that you have buyer protection if you pay via PayPal.
